PermaLink Just Enough Governance for Notes09/17/2007 09:55 AM
None
All this blogging is making me tired, so I'm going to be taking a break. Starting today you probably won't see too many posts here, but you will see some on Teamstudio's other blog - http://www.governancefornotes.com. This is a new forum for talking about all the IT Governance issues that are facing Notes/Domino users today and some opinions on how to deal with them. I encourage everyone who is still reading this blog (I think there may be a few of you out there....) to head over and check it out!

This site will continue to live on as the home for Script Browser, which I hope will have an update someday before LotusSphere 2008, but .... only time will tell.... actually only free time will tell..... which I have none of at the moment.

I was finally able to find some time to get a new version of Script browser ready for release. It's been really tough finding time to get these things completed, but some help from some brave beta testers has really made the difference.

PermaLink Small (ish) update to Script Browser04/12/2006 03:34 PM
None
Just a few changes this time.....
+ Script Browser now handles non-ascii characters correctly.
+ Variables that are dim'ed and new'ed in the same statement are now parsed correctly.
Ex: Dim session as New NotesSession
+ Variables that are dim'ed using a type suffix will display the correct type instead of 'Variant'
        Ex: Dim somestring$
        now displays like:
        A picture named M2
+ Functions/Gets/Sets Now display a variable that has the same name as the function. So now you can find references to the return value of a function.
        A picture named M3

You can download the new version of Teamstudio Script Browser here, or on the left side under the 'Free Tools' section.

PermaLink New Version of Teamstudio Script Browser03/24/2006 01:14 PM
None

I know it's been a while since I've done a new tool download, so here is a biggie:

I have had this laying around for a while and figured that now was as good a time as any to get this out. Otherwise, it would probably be sitting around for a while longer collecting dust....

The biggest deal with this new version of Script Browser is that it now supports members and variables in the tree.
